Termination is done by sliding a section of heat shrink and crimp sleeve up the weighted steel fishing line prior to connecting the weighted steel line to the swivel. After the weighted steel fishing line has been run through the swivel, the steel can be run up into the crimp sleeve and then crimped with a pair of wire cutters. The heat shrink can be slid down over the crimp sleeve and secured using a lighter.
The same process would take place on the leader end of the weighted steel fishing line.
Caution, do not place heat shrink or heat of any kind near your backer or leader material.
